Glossary and Terminology 


Photography Post-Production:
The time spent after the event in transporting photos, changing photo format, selecting photos, editing, retouching, making photo book pages, sending and picking up photos from the lab, final checking of the printed products, labeling and transporting your photos for your digital copy, and delivery of the final products.  


Video Post-Production:
The time spent after the event in transporting video, transporting audio, transfer video and audio to editing software,  organization, edition of video and refining, audio mixing, graphics creation, graphics and music addition, color correction,  check, exporting, DVD Copy, Cover and DVD labeling, DVD final check, and delivery. 


Photo Editing:
The culling, cropping, color adjustment, exposition, and format converting the images of each individual photo.


Basic Retouching Photos:
To improve a photo by lightly altering the image to produce a more desirable appearance. Removing bags under the eyes, skin smoothening, light removal of stray hair, light figure reshaping or slimming, light removal of blemishes, light removal of scars, light removal of acne or wrinkles,and light removal of tan lines.


 Extensive Retouching Photos:
To improve a photo by extensively altering the image to produce a more desirable appearance. Removing bags under the eyes, skin smoothening, removing stray hair, figure reshaping or slimming, removing blemishes, scars, acne or wrinkles, removing tan lines.


Photomontage:
A combination of several photographs joint together for artistic effect or to show more of the subject than can be shown in a single photograph.


Montage:
The technique of combining in a single image pictorial elements from various sources, as parts of different photographs  to give the illusion that the elements belonged together originally or to allow each element to retain its separate identity, as a means of adding interest or meaning to the image.


Image Manipulation:
The art of transforming an image by adding creative effects and enhancing the image , rather than what the original image may have shown.


Digital Copy of the Photos:
With a Digital Copy, you will receive the final photos in a DVD or USB format in high resolution. The Digital Copy is equivalent to the negative of a photo.The Photographer has the copyright to each digital image. So along with your digital copy of the final photos (in your DVD or USB) we give you a release letter for you to be able to reproduce each image in a photo lab as much as you like. You can even make poster enlargements. You can also email the digital photos to your family and friends as well as share your digital photos on social media.

El Paseo:
We dedicate one hour, individual, one on one photographer time with our Quinceañeras. We walk through a chosen location and take portrait photos. Many of our quinceañeras love to bring along one or many different quinceañera dresses for this Photo Session. We have many different locations where this Paseo Photo Session can be done, one of our favorite locations is in St. Augustine. Together we have such an exciting time creating beautiful memories.


Teaser Trailer:
This new service is available as of January 2018. We take one on one individual time with our clients to create a sneak peek trailer for their event. This video will be filmed by our videographer at Sheila Trujillo Studios. It includes an interview to get to know you, a unique storyboard, 1 hour of filming, post-production, and your digital copy. WIth this digital copy we give you the rights to put them on a DVD format, reproduce, and share over email or social media.


Story Trailer:
This new service is available as of January 2018. We take one on one individual time with our clients to create a video based on your story. This video can be used for your event entrance. This video will be filmed by our videographer at Sheila Trujillo Studios. It includes an interview to get to know you, a unique storyboard based on your story, 1 hour of filming, editing, and your digital copy. With this digital copy we give you the rights to put them on a DVD format, reproduce, and share over email or social media.
